• TIMAB - Saint-Malo (35)
Plant created in 1976, production and bagging of feed phosphates
Capacity: 200.000 T/year
Markets: France and Europe
• CGB - Billy (14)
Quarry bought by TIMAB in 2003, extraction and transformation of calcium carbonate.
Capacity: 250.000 T/year.
Markets: Animal Nutrition, Fertilizers, road surfacing and concrete, watertreatment.
Spain
• MAGNESITAS NAVARRAS - ZUBIRI
Created in 1945 then bought by TIMAB in 2000, MAGNA exploits its own magnesium quarry and transforms the mineral in Zubiri plant.
Capacity: 180.000 T/year
Markets:
- caustic calcined magnesium (CCM) for animal feed and agriculture (fertilizers)
- dead burn magnesium (DBM) for refractory use (iron ans steel industry).

Applications:
Neutralisation of heavy metals from industrial muds (contaminated soils), water treatment (Treatment of drinking water) & Remineralisation and filtering of water.
